Convening Provider Starts the Process
Using current estimator tools, convening providers upload their patient's estimate into The Hyve. The Hyve GFE Exchange keeps you compliant with mandatory fields that you can manually provide if not found in your estimate letter.
Selection of co-providers is easy! Once onboarded, all co-providers, whether internal or external to the health system, appear in a drop down assigned to a specific facility. The user can sort by specialty or alpha order for each of selection.
Convening provider adds as many co-providers as needed, clicks submit, and each co-provider is notified via The Hyve, to complete their portion of the GFE.
Co-Providers Complete Their Portion
Each co-provider can see the details of the patient's scheduled or requested procedure, providing context to the services they will provide. Co-provider user enters their related procedure code via a lookup or manual entry, and enters the self-pay rate associated with that procedure code.
Clicks submit and Voila! Their portion has been entered into the portal and returned to the convening provider.
Once all providers have completed their portion, the convening provider is notified that the GFE is ready.
Each co-provider has access to the final GFE for their records.
1 GFE Letter for 1 Visit
The Hyve efficiently creates a comprehensive GFE letter to send to the patient, eliminating multiple points of contact to the patient and lessening confusion on what is owed to whom.
Each provider is listed with required information mandated by CMS, the procedure codes entered by each, and the self-pay rates associated with every code by provider.
You can send to the patient from The Hyve-GFE Exchange using USPS and/or email services, or follow your organization's method to distribute to the patient.
